I’ve seen Akira more times than just about any movie other than the original Star Wars. the ‘Akira slide’ is now a well homaged trope. This isn’t the slide, but still a classic scene. Updated for Barbarella. Which is itself so camp as to be amazing.

Now I need framing to go on sale for the actual thing I bought…
