It has been a while since I last posted an update, so here it is.

  • Beautiful Testing – This is the biggie. You can pre-order it now from Amazon. The description isn’t quite accurate yet, but I’ll work on getting it updated this week. As for the actual content, the technical review is wrapping up this week and then a month of revising before it is completely locked and loaded
  • CAST – I’m scheduled to speak at CAST next month on how to market yourself; after all, the most important stakeholder in your career is you. I had a training gig fall through through which is putting the budget for that in serious jeopardy. I have to make a decision one way or another within the next week.
  • Agile – I’m also scheduled to speak at Agile 2009 at the end of August about the various ‘hats’ an agile tester wears. It’s closer geographically and further out time-wise so its not in danger. Yet.
  • Availability – As a result of the above two bullets, I’m making myself available for remote testing services (planning, execution, continuous integration, selenium, and more!) in the evening and weekends. Email me to discuss.
  • The next book – I think the next book is going to be a brain-dump of what I think is useful to know about testing. They’ll be a version on databases, automation, security, etc, etc.
