A Smattering of Selenium #14
Not many links this time, but still some important stuff.
- Kevin detailed how to hack SnapsIE to take full page or full canvas screenshots
- Speaking of Kevin, he was anointed as the new maintainer of Se-Grid. Congrats!
- Dawn announced that Selenesse .NET is go!
- Jim’s application likes to warm up before having automation applied to it and he shows how to use NUnit’s SetUpFixture to do it
- A lot of people don’t evolve their testing beyond Se-IDE and make use of the -htmlSuite option of Se-RC. If you are one of them, then how to run htmlsuites in Hudson is an important article for you.
- In the fall I did a presentation on how to succeed with web automation; the video is now online. I haven’t watched it, nor intend to, but so far I’ve had positive feedback. (Oh, and I posted the slides earlier but they are Lessig-ish so don’t worry about them too too much.)
